We are pleased to announce that the 2014 United States Capitol Christmas Tree was harvested from Chippewa National Forest in north-central Minnesota. The tree is currently making its way to DC.  A special delegation from Minnesota, including students from the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe, will be traveling to the Capitol for the occasion of its dedication.

The Minnesota State Society is excited to co-host a reception to welcome the Minnesota delegation and celebrate the arrival of the tree on:

Monday, December 1st, from 5:30-7:30pm.

The event is free to members, but an RSVP is required.
