MNSS is proud to participate in Wreaths Across America at the U.S. Soldiers' & Airmen's Home National Cemetery in Washington, DC.

Come join fellow Minnesotans in laying wreaths to Remember, Honor, and Teach about our nation's veterans this holiday season.

After wreath-laying, participants are welcome to retire to neighborhood hangout Slash Run for burgers, brews, and banter about the latest MN happenings. There are indoor and outdoor seating options available.

The US Soldiers' and Airmen's Home National Cemetery is our first national cemetery. It was established in July 1861, for the burial of U.S. soldiers and officers. The first burials in this cemetery were made on August third, 1861. The cemetery is currently nearly 16 acres in size and is the resting place for 21 Medal of Honor recipients. Currently, 14,000 veterans are buried here.

The Minnesota State Society will collect all wreath sponsorships and submit one wreath order on behalf of the organization.
