Wreaths Across America 2022

This year MNSS members gathered at both the Alexandria National Cemetery and the Soldiers’ Home Cemetery to lay wreaths to remember, honor, and teach about our nation's veterans. It was a fun Christmas activity that we look forward to repeating next year!

In addition to the volunteers who laid wreaths, the MNSS sponsored 10 wreaths. Thanks to the following members for their support:

Stephanie S., Julie M., Chris C., James J., Daniel M., Cassandra K., and Michael M.

Minnesotans at War

In October 2021 the MNSS gathered on the Gettysburg battlefield to retrace the steps of the First Minnesota Volunteer Infantry Regiment. We learned about the storied unit and everything it accomplished over those two days in July, 1863.
